Pretty chill guy Benny is about to have a not at all chill night. In director Adam Marshall’s Night Teeth—written by Brent Dillon—Benny (Jorge Lendeborg Jr.) is just doing his job, driving two women around Los Angeles one night. But they’re not ordinary women, and when they say they want to hit a bunch of parties by morning … morning has a certain ominous ring to it.
Night Teeth stars Debby Ryan (Insatiable) and Lucy Fry (Vampire Academy) as Blaire and Zoe, who pull Benny into a bloody underworld of rival vampire gangs. Megan Fox is in here, as is only natural where supernatural murdering of men is concerned, and so is Game of Thrones’ Alfie Allen. I can’t really tell what any of them are doing but it involves vampire fights and clubgoing and eventually Benny has an axe, which probably works out better for him than his brief attempt at explaining what he’s seen to a cop.
Netflix, as is their wont, sums up the mayhem with alarming calm: “A young driver picks up two mysterious women for a night of party hopping. But when his passengers reveal their true nature, he must fight to stay alive.”
This probably isn’t exactly the kind of job experience Benny was expecting to get as a driver. But hey, at least he’s learning new skills.
Night Teeth comes to Netflix on October 20th.
